Are passports required to visit Sandals?
U.S. and Canadian citizens only have to show proof of citizenship with a certified copy of a birth certificate and a photo ID or a current passport. Canadian Citizens must have passport for the Bahamas. Citizens of other countries may require a visa to certain island countries. Please contact your airline carrier for detailed information on the necessary travel documents. Airline companies are more up-to-date on immigration laws, and will assist you further.

Is the departure tax included?
No. Departure tax is to paid upon leaving the airport. Contact your travel agent for more detailed information.

Are safe deposit boxes available?
Safe deposit boxes are included in every room. Guests with expensive jewelry and/or large amounts of cash are advised to store all valuables in your room safe as Sandals Resorts cannot be held responsible.

What is the check out time?
Guests are required to check out by 11:30 a.m. on the morning of departure. However, you may continue to use all of the resort's amenities until your departure time.

What temperatures should I expect?
Eat your heart out Jack Frost! The temperatures in the Caribbean are passionately warm year-round. Daytime average is around 82F (28º) and nighttime temperature is around 72F (22º).

Do you have an on-site nurse?
Yes, our nurses are on duty from 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. and are happy to take care of you, even treat a sunburn! His/her services are complimentary, however, there is a charge for medication and doctor's consultations should you require it.

When can Tee times be reserved?
All Tee times must be arranged at the resort upon arrival through the resort's Tour Desk.

Is tipping typical at the resort?
Tipping and gratuities are already included, so all tipping at Sandals is strictly prohibited.

What is the evening dress code?
Proper attire is required at dinner. No beach wear, shorts, tank tops or bare feet are allowed. Elegant dress shorts are permitted in some restaurants. Long pants and collared shirts are required at the specialty restaurants. Ties and suits are welcomed, but not required.
