Though small and intimate, Walker's Cay offers a range of
accommodations to fit everyone's tastes and budgets. Our three secluded
villas, sixty-two hotel guest rooms, and the 3-bedroom Harbour House
(perfect for larger groups or families) are all air-conditioned and
decorated with a relaxed tropical touch that complements our secluded
island sanctuary.
No video game rooms. No casinos. No beach vendors. No hassles. Our
hotel does offer beautiful, uncrowded beaches, as well as both
freshwater and saltwater pools. A well equipped dive shop covers
everything you could possibly need. The Conch Pearl restaurant at the
hotel and the Lobster Trap at the marina, and our two bars, keep you
close to the best in island and continental cuisine...and your favorite
libation. You can also play tennis, shop for groceries and liquor at two
different locations or gifts and sundries at the Treasure Chest gift
shop (operating out of the Sea Below dive shop). And, If you want to
spend a day on one of our deserted out-islands, we'll be more than happy
to provide drop-off and pick-up service for you. You can even arrange to
have us make up a picnic lunch for your day of seclusion on your own
private island oasis.

A single island-style room, a multi-room villa or a spacious beach
house all your own, Walker's Cay Hotel has something to suit everyone's
requirements. Situated 50 feet above sea level, your accommodations will
provide you with a commanding view of the island and the turquoise-blue
Bahamian waters. Surrounded by lush vegetation, all of our guest
accommodations are airy, tropical, comfortable and private. Our fully
air-conditioned accommodations all have private baths and terraces that
provide a welcome haven, for the most part intentionally devoid of
telephones, so you can leave the outside world far behind.

you can see our bountiful Bahamian fishing grounds right from your room.
That means less time getting to the fish and more time landing them!
Encircling Walker's Cay is a barrier reef teeming with fish
and remarkable formations. We know them so well that we refer to them by
names such as "Flower Garden," "Spiral Cavern Reef," "White Hole" and "Shark
Canyon Arena." From novice to expert, our dive masters and staff at our "Sea
Below Dive Center" - just a short walk from your hotel room - will get you
outfitted, trained and out to these dive sites as quickly, easily and
carefully as possible.
Of course, all Walker's Cay dive packages include the
world-famous "Shark Rodeo." Voted "One of the world's ten best animal
experiences" by "Skin Diver" magazine and the world's number one "Big
Animal" dive by RodAles' Scuba Diving magazine, this dive has been

The shark is perhaps the most misunderstood creature of the deep. As we
have learned from being at "shark central" in Walker's Cay Hotel and Marina,
sharks are to be respected, but not feared.
Our world-famous Shark Rodeo - with the highest concentration of sharks
anywhere in the world - has exposed thousands of men, women and children to
the wonders of these wonderful animals. Our controlled feeding is so safe,
no visitor has ever been injured. This is largely due to our refraining from
hand feeding, which we do not condone.
